OLOP PARISH SOCIAL COMPLEX
The parish is well served with a social complex, which was totally refurbished in 2009. The centre comprises of a number of rooms which are used for parish functions and meetings. These include a social Club, a large hall and the Carl Barton room. The hall and Carl Barton room may be booked by parishioners and third parties for a reasonable fee. Either or both of these rooms can be offered with a bar facility by arrangement. At the rear of the complex is a purpose-built smoking shelter.

OLOP SOCIAL CLUB
We are one of very few parishes in the Diocese fortunate enough to have our very own Members’ Social Club. The Club is situated in the Parish complex, adjacent to the hall, offering a fully licensed bar open every evening and Sunday lunchtime, serving a fine range of draught ales, wines and spirits all at prices well below local pubs. The Club is run on a professional basis by a small group of enthusiastic volunteers and annual membership is available at modest cost to all parishioners of OLOP, other parishioners from within the parish group, their relatives and friends. The Club has also been recently totally refurbished and offers comfortable, well furnished, air conditioned surroundings with a variety of entertainment including Big Screen TV for sporting events, darts and bar billiards. It is also affiliated to our golf and table tennis societies. We have regular Poker evenings and monthly quiz nights featuring the exclusive Treasure chest game. At least once a month there is entertainment by way of live music, groups, comedians, discos, skittles evenings and barbeques. We have weekly raffles with fabulous prizes – drawn on Saturday evenings.

As well as a comfortable lounge bar area, there is a bar-billiards table, darts board and large TV screen.
