The Roman Catholic Parish of Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Dominic Barberi is to be found on the Earley and Reading border and is one of the Roman Catholic parishes of the Diocese of Portsmouth. 

The Roman Catholic parish of Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Dominic Barberi is a very welcoming and enthusiastic parish. The members are from all the local areas of Earley, Lower Earley, Reading, Woodley, Winnersh and Wokingham and with the nearby Universities of Reading and Thames Valley students from all over the country and the world attend our masses. 

The Diocese of Portsmouth has recently created larger Pastoral Areas and Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Dominic Barberi is now part of the such a Pastoral area which includes the parishes of Christ the King (Whitley Wood, Reading), St John Bosco (Woodley, Reading) and St Thomas More (Twyford, Wokingham, Berkshire). This larger pastoral area is known as Loddon Valley Pastoral Area. Parishioners of Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Dominic Barberi are to be found on many local Ecumenical and social groups and the parish actively encourages parishioners to represent Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Dominic Barberi on many other bodies including Diocesan groups. 

Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Dominic Barberi are justifiably very proud of our younger members and one of the highlights of the year is the parish Pantomime which our younger members produce, as well as their participation in our First Holy Communion and Confirmation courses.

So if you are newly moved into the area, are looking for God, help or just peace and sanctuary from outside pressure for 5 minutes, Our Lady of Peace and Blessed Dominic Barberi is always there for you.
