Parish Liturgy Group - This is a new group being formed within the parish. A little while ago there was a meeting held to initiate this group at which Paul Inwood attended and explained the guidelines. This is very much an all hands welcome group and the newer those hands the better. So there will be another meeting after Easter to form this group which will hopefully have a beneficial effect on our parish worship. So please consider coming to that meeting.

For more information of what is involved in a Parish Liturgy Group please read Liturgy Group Guidelines which the Diocese has kindly sent to us.

Readers - Many people within the parish, both young and old, take an active part in the liturgy of the word, by reading during the masses. Its a daunting task sometimes, to stand up and speak in front of a church full of people, but they all do it so well, they're a credit to the parish.

If you feel that you could do this, have been baptised and would like to add to parish life as a reader then please get in touch with the parish office stating which mass you wish to read at.

For guidelines on what is expected of a reader and tips on how to, please read Reader's Guidelines.

Sacristans - are parishioners who volunteer their time to ensure that all the relevant preparations are made before & after each mass. They assist Father in preparing the Holy Vessels, the votive candles and all sorts of other things. If you feel that you could do this then please get in touch with the parish office for further details.
