Confirmation 2009

Confirmation will be celebrated for this parish in Summer 2009. We invite all those who would like to receive the sacrament and have completed year 7 in school if under 13, to provide the parish with the following details by Sunday 19th October in a letter or e-mail to Fr. Anthony:

Your name, date of birth, school, address, e-mail address & phone number, parents’ names and e-mail address, the Mass you normally attend and the church & date of your baptism.

Preparation for Confirmation will begin after half term and will include a few Saturdays, a weekend retreat and occasional weekday evenings. Any queries please e-mail Ann Woolley.

First Holy Communion 2009

The parish course for the First Holy Communion Candidates and their parents is about to start. If you will soon be starting Year 3, will be 8 years old between 1st Sept 2008 and 31st Aug 2009, and if you feel ready, you are eligible to join our parish 1st Holy Communion preparation program. Parents of those children should please write a letter or e-mail to Father Anthony c/o the Parish Office BY 15TH SEPTEMBER with the child’s name, date of birth, date and place of baptism, and parents’ names & address. Please mark envelope “1st Holy Communion 2009”.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

From the 11th April Exposition will be celebrated on Friday evenings from 6.30 pm with confession available from 7 pm for those who desire it and followed by Mass at 7.30 pm.

New time for Confessions

From the 11th April Confession will be available on Friday evenings from 7.00 - 7.30 pm in the confessional. Confessions are still available at other times if you contact the Parish Office to arrange a suitable date and time.

Rosary before Weekday Masses

As of Tuesday 4th March the Rosary will be prayed before morning Masses commencing at 9.15 am approx. The parish petitions which are on the altar will be remembered.

Feedback & Way Forward from Parish Prayer Evenings

Woodley Jumbulance Group Trip to Lourdes
